Love GoTo Webinar - it’s a great solution for webinars. We actually use different webinar products for different groups and this is the tool we use for external meetings as it’s the most user friendly that we’ve found.

We love the features that you can mute participants, take questions and follow up after the call, if there isn’t time. Sharing and receiving RSVPs is very helpful and use friendly. We have account managers that’s host webinars with 50+ clients regularly and it’s just such a game changer with all the amazing features.

I could not give GoTo Webinar a higher rating! I attend frequent webinars on a variety of subjects for my role in environment, health, and safety, as well as physical security. There is a multitude of vendors that offer webinar capabilities. GoTo Webinar is a fantastic choice as it provides a simple-to-use platform with outstanding quality elements. Crystal-clear audio and video. Many other vendors have glitching and frozen screen issues that I have never experienced with the GoTo Webinar product.

Other vendors can claim their product is a superior choice; however, in my history of experiencing multiple options, GoTo Webinar gets my highest marks!

We build physical product and support is essential either it's in house technician or external.
  • It's extremely easy to contact and send invitation the webinar required and the control is very intuitive
  • Ability to track attendance and from the data we can generate very useful graph and vis for our metrics
  • Multi presenter webinar are also useful in cases where there are multiple presenters
  • Dashboard for control are mostly intuitive but in some menus like the webcasting section can be cluttered
  • The current polling and survey capabilities are too simple. More advanced features, such as branching logic and real-time results, would make engagement more dynamic and insightful.
  • Although it's easy for organiser to use goto webinar, users have reported issues and long wait time on their end and they don't have much control over the session
As a small tech company, GoTo Webinar is awesome for our quarterly product launches and inviting stakeholders are very easy and painless.

We needed a way to bring new educational content to our audience. We use GoTo to host a monthly, a bi-monthly, and occasional paid commercial webinars. We initially charged non-members to view the webinars but the exposure to a larger audience during COVID made us change these to free for anyone. In addition to the live webinars, we also keep the recordings in a library for users to view later.
  • The webinars are easy to set up and schedule
  • Admin controls during the webinar are easy to use and pretty self-explanatory
  • Automatic recordings are great.
  • Attendee/registration reports are helpful
  • You can't blur your background when using a webcam. Zoom has been doing this forever and this seems like a pretty big omission.
  • Invited panelists can't test their screenshare/audio/video on their own so we have to schedule sessions to do this.
  • We have a lot of repeat speakers/panelists, not having the ability to save their information for easy access can be a pain.
  • You can't add hyperlinks or attach files to the automated attendee/registrant emails.
  • You only get one login per license and cannot substitute emails. This is a real pain if the licensed person needs someone else to run a webinar every now and then because only the licensed person receives the backup panelist invites. Even being able to add a cced individual to those emailed invites would be a big help.
GoTo Webinar is very well suited for our purposes. Our webinars consist of a panelists and at least one moderator and a Q&A session at the end. Panelists are able to use the screen share feature to run their own slideshows and the moderator can review questions that are typed in by the audience. We rarely have issues with performance and if these is an issue it's usually on the user side. We can also add our own custom questions to the registration page so that we can collect additional info from the audience. Post session emails can be scheduled to target attendees and people that registered but didn't attend. You can set these emails to include a recording of the session as well.

A downside is that you cannot embed links or attach files to those emails. We send out disclosure/conflict of interest statements to all attendees prior to the sessions starting and being able to include those as attachments in the reminder emails would be great. You cannot blur your webcam background. Almost all of our panelists want that option and they usually say "Zoom can do it" when I say it's unavailable.

From a user standpoint, I cannot think of any particular issues that I have run into while using Goto Webinar. It seems to be easy to navigate and works smoothly. The quality of the product is good and allows many users to be on it all at once without having to be on site or lagging/slowing down the webinar.

I think that it is a great tool/ platform for video conferences and face to face time between groups. It is pretty simple to use and does not require a downloaded version to use it similar to zoom. It was our standard in-house tool for several years and every member of the marketing team had access to use this software on a weekly basis. This tool helped us quickly plan and develop webinars for end users.

The UX doesn't allow for as much event invite customization as competitors. However, creating an event is extremely easy, making it simple to quickly put together an event invite.

We use GTW for less critical webinars within our organization. For higher-profile events, we use a more premium webinar platform that provides more flexibility and customization.

  • Sharing a PowerPoint can be cumbersome. Presenters can't see the other attendees if they only have one monitor. There are workarounds, but it's not great.
  • Registration form options are limited.
  • Post-event emails are wonky. Very little ability to customize.
  • Getting an event started is confusing. Their "Practice", "Start", and "Start Broadcast" options are confusing.
It's good for situations when you don't need a lot of customization. It's also good for rookie presenters because most controls are fairly intuitive for presenters.

My team uses this app for hosting webinars with our customer businesses on several occassions such as quarterly updates ,annual general meeting. Its easy for creating and sending invites to a large set of people.

I personally also attend many wellness and fun sessions organized by partner companies for us. This has helped us easily attend such events and engage with our colleagues.

GoTo Webinar is one of the very first tools for the online meetings I used for my work. It provides many advantages, such as for participants, you do not need to install it, you can use the web version.
I used to connect with my clients, share content and exchange ideas.

One scenario where GoTo Webinar does not function as expected is when you deal with PowerPoint and you have one screen only. Also, I find it a bit annoying is when you have multiple screens, it becomes unstable for some reason.

Apart from other Video Conferencing tools like Cisco Webex, through GoTo Webinar, it can host participants up to 2000+ in reality, But Sometimes in our Organisation at the time of Covid, in order to address more people (Close to 2700) in one Session regarding Health Importance we have utilized this tool to Connect with the Participant Queries to address their the emotional well-being and other stuff. So through this tool, Communication can reach a Wider Audience.
  • Through GoTo Webinar, We can Present the Presentations to a Wider Audience, as informed Previously, as this Communication tool has a small amount of Licensing Capability at a Reasonable Price.
  • Also, in the Meetings, The Panelist can ask Questions and can Conduct an intuitive poll among the Participants.
  • Also never faced any Kind of Continuous Communication Glitches, But Sometimes on rare occasions, Noise Distortion happens, and that happens due to Network Fluctuations due to BandWidth Issues.
  • Also, some of the other Features of the GoTo Webinar are the Hosts/Panelists Can Mute their Audiences and also can make the audience raise their hands so that the Questions can be addressed.
  • Finally, at the end of any Meeting, I can Provide them with the Survey regarding the Meeting Stuff and end the Meeting as well.
  • Unlike Some Other Conferencing Tools, GoTo Webinar Tool doesn't have the Provision for Break-out Sessions.
  • Because if Multiple Sessions are happening in an Event, So it is up to the Participants to decide regarding the participation in their Following topics, So at the time, the Break-out Sessions are found to be helpful. But as said earlier, the GoTo webinar can able to house a Maximum Number of participants, But it should be One Specific Session, not the Brek-out Ones.
  • Another demerit of this tool is the inability of users to become the Hosts at Certain Points to Continue the Presentation, as Some Restrictions are in Place that only the Hosts can provide Permissions to the participants at some Points.
As informed earlier, if we are addressing a huge people of around 2500+ People in a Single Session, then this is the Ultimate tool to have Communication all-around and also Sometimes, due to some natural Calamities or sometimes, where our Physical Presence is not required, so at a time in order to pass the Information to a Wider Audience, GoTo Webinar is Quite Useful. Also, in Certain Situations, if our Client wants to join as a Participant and also can join the Meeting Virtually without any Physical Presence at some times to discuss the Technical Front and the Methodologies.

I use GoTo Webinar a couple of times per quarter as we have webinars between our partners and our customers. This helps us introduce our customers to our partners. Very easy to use and it's very user-friendly. Most importantly bent had a problem we customers logging in and watching the webinar.

It is very easy to use and easily learn how to use. During the webinar, there aren't any technical problems or questions which help during the stressful presentation. This software was used in a prototype situation when reviewing the best way to use a webinar related piece of software.While it was used my experience with it was early and good but it showed promise and have seen and interacted with it many times since. GoTo Webinar was used for the purpose of hosting a company wide GDC like event in which it was a platform for people to tune in and be exposed to a variety of teams and the information they where willing to share.In a company with thousands of employees it is vital to information share and GoTo Webinar created this opportunity.On demand video was a necessity and it delivered

  • Robust Analytics
  • Audio quality could be better overall, Cut offs and stable audio connections arent as good as you would want it to be
  • Documentation for GoTo Webinar Api is not up to user friendly standards
  • Registration page lacks a robust customization
The GoTo Webinar software/ api is generally good for communication ,upskill and knowledge sharing. The covid period was a good example of how effective a software such as this can be. Allowed multiple uses of comms for webinars with a live chat feature and easy joining security with a simple code. Can launch in browser as well Analytics and reporting wanted by management is robust and as such is very welcomed

Our association uses [GoTo Webinar] for almost all our online webinars, which can be between 2-5 per month. Most of the programs are generated in the U.S., but we also use it for international webinars that are launched by our team in Malaysia. It has been a great way to reach a very large, international audience for our educational programs.
  • Reports are quite thorough for attendee tracking, Q&A submissions.
  • Overall the online technology and connectivity is very reliable.
  • They have good help screens, and if needed the live help staff are easily accessible.
  • It would be nice to be able to run customized reports.
  • Running a presentation with embedded videos can be hit or miss; typically only 50% of the audience can see and/or hear the videos.
  • When needing to enter webinar information in a foreign language, the auto translations on the platform are not 100% accurate, and there are only so many languages to choose from.
[GoTo Webinar] is great for conducting webinars in general. It is a widely used & accepted online program, which makes it user-friendly. It is easy to set up webinars, and easy to execute them. It is also relatively affordable if your organization hosts many webinars, but it may be worth [GoTo Webinar] to explore or allow one-off use of the platform instead of requiring a subscription.

GoTo Webinar is used by our customers to host virtual events. Cvent has a tight integration with GoTo Webinar. Our customers use cvent to collect registrations where GoTo Webinar is used on the day of the event/webinar. GoTo Webinar encourages attendee engagement and has increased the attendance rate. It has resolved a lot of business problems like analytics and event administration.
